Welcome to For the Love of Money, the place to be for lively, heart-felt talk about personal money management and other financial matters.

Here you’ll find we have a passion for financial literacy. We aim to improve everybody’s financial savvy through interesting stories and smart advice covering all kinds of money-related subjects.

Leading the way is Laurie Campbell from Credit Canada, one of the world’s top agencies in debt counselling and credit education.

As the agency’s executive director, Laurie offers priceless wisdom about personal finance, as well as insight into how money influences all of us socially and psychologically.

Laurie discusses credit and debt, spending and budgeting, savings and investments – plus other issues of interest to individuals, families and the community at large.

Congratulations Laurie on engaging Canadians in a web 2.0 medium that is much needed. The topics covered in your blog are “back to basics” topics that are taboo at family dinner tables today. I send out your posts to friends, family and other contacts that use your work to help those we love. This is important work. Thank you and please keep pushing forward!
