Ck.out Keep the Wolf From the Door, by Silverthorn, who used to send letters to our client's demanding $$,,but has now changed his direction and works on behlf of debtors, and has an office in Kitchener. It's a great book and could be used as a training tool for new credit counsellors. I wrote a review of the book whcih I sent to OACCS for their newletter.

Thanks for all the great feedback. There are so many great books on finance that the list could be endless. The more important thing to remember is to keep educating yourself in the area of personal finance. Happy reading!

The mark of a "teacher" and not a "promoter" is connecting others to brands and knowledge that is focused on critical wisdom which doesn't have to come from you. Thank you Laurie for this list! Public library hear I come! PN

All of these titles are a great start and they can lead you to other books and other questions that need answering - of course the first step to sound financial management is to see if these books are in the library - that will certainly fit any budget. Your new mantra can be - if it's for free? then it's for me !
