Ck.out Keep the Wolf From the Door, by Silverthorn, who used to send letters to our client’s demanding $$,,but has now changed his direction and works on behlf of debtors, and has an office in Kitchener. It’s a great book and could be used as a training tool for new credit counsellors. I wrote a review of the book whcih I sent to OACCS for their newletter.

All of these titles are a great start and they can lead you to other books and other questions that need answering – of course the first step to sound financial management is to see if these books are in the library – that will certainly fit any budget. Your new mantra can be – if it’s for free? then it’s for me !
