And we have loans because we maxed our credit cards to pay bills. we have a lean on our mortgage and creditors calling. i don't answer the phone anymore. i can't even afford to run away. that's just the end result of trying to help our 3 sons get through school and live in northwest ontario. need lots of help now. it too late to chop my spending. my wife and i had tried desperately to save and now we’ve allowed credit cards to replace loans we didn’t qualify for. I watched you on BNN today and your enthusiasm for money management education is contagious. Having been poor at managing money before, and having improved a lot (zero debt, pay cash for everything, decent savings), I appreciate your frank, forceful and to-the-point advice on how to be judicious when it comes to spending money and eliminating debt.
